Our Process

When oilfield “production water” and other production fluids arrive to IWM it begins a unique and proprietary journey through our plant. Using a complex series of tanks and processes the water is cleaned of nearly 100% of hydrocarbons. That water then makes its way to our evaporation ponds and eventually our disposal well, which is the cleanest in the industry. This is good for our customers’ liability concerns, good for our industry, and good for the environment.

  • Use a patented filter press system
  • IWM also uses traditional Centrifuge technologies

Production water is picked up and trucked in to the IWM facility.

Multiple automated, full-service off-loading stations ensure minimal wait times.

Our large holding capacity allow us to easily accommodate demand peaks.

Waste water is constantly monitored and analyzed for quality control, using the correct amount of air filtrate and odor control to comply with state and federal regulations as well as local community standards.

Our down-hole water is the cleanest in the industry, ensuring our well will have a long and healthy life, which is good for the environment and your bottom line.

Our disposal well has enough capacity to meet the needs of the oil and gas industry of the region for decades to come as well as some of the highest assessments available for safety based on the well’s geology and IWM’s practices.
